Philly Diner - Essington

We've visited this restaurant twice in one week! The chicken parmesan with linguine is fantastic; it comes with either soup or a large dinner salad and is comparable to what you'd find in a traditional Italian restaurant. The portion sizes are generous enough for a second meal! The salads are fresh and crisp, and the chicken pancake is simply amazing—homemade perfection! The staff is friendly and hardworking, with no sign of laziness. We went after 7:00 PM both times, but we plan to return at different times of the day. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews—give this place a try!

I just had the best Philly cheese steak I've ever tasted! The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I really wish we had a location in Cincinnati. Keep up the great work, everyone!

After 7 PM, the tables and floors in this restaurant were spotless, and the waiting staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent, with generous portions and high quality—definitely great value for the price. I visited twice a week and found it to be a lovely, relaxed environment with a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely return!

We live in a nearby hotel and are served for breakfast. It was the best breakfast we had in a long time (on the street). Great food and staff were upstairs. We'll be here again at our next visit to Philadelphia. The Losota's Florida
