Dairy Freez - Essex

Visited early afternoon on Sunday with my wife and another couple - we ordered lunch from the menu and waited and waited. and waited- the place was not super busy- when the food arrived, it was hot- wasn't so delicious or plentiful - we had ice creams and went forward and ordered them and brought them back to our table - they were good and good.

I can't even check it out because I couldn't bring anyone to the truck, that was right next to the sign in front of the building. my wife and I sat there for 15 minutes with my full lights, while the waiting staff, all around me, and completely ignored me. I will never be again! I would say the worst service ever, but I have no one.

Had many over expensive crunchy meals my biggest problem is the inconvenience in foods the milkshakes quality is, but one of many play only to wendy’s go and the frosty lol for real

Anyone who doesn't enjoy this restaurant is probably someone who doesn't appreciate anything. We have created wonderful memories here and continue to do so whenever we visit with our family. The food is delicious, especially the ice cream treats, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The back dining area is especially enjoyable for children. The value for the price is outstanding. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

We have been going to Dairy Freeze in Essex for Decades when we want to get out of the city (Windsor) and go for a ride in the County and always looking to get something to eat. We really enjoy the Foot Long Cheese Dog...and Crinkle fries and that has been what we have been ordering for years and can't find it in Windsor. The food was good but the service could use a little improving as the Car Hops are usually talking to each other with their backs are to the cars that have pulled in and you must turn your headlights on for service but sometime you have to get out and get their attention but it isn't a real big deal but they could improve this part a little, still no complaints once the order is in and your food is brought to you hot and tasty. Wish it was open all year but it is Seasonal and we will have to wait all Winter till Spring to once again visit one of our favourite places in the County.
