Casa Jaguar Tulum - Esmeralda K

Went to Casa Jagar for dinner with a friend. We didn 't book so on arrival we were told it was a 45 min wait. That 's fine but a drink in the bar is more expensive than in a London cocktail bar. Then we were sat for dinner, and when the waitress arrived we ordered drinks. No wine available. So I chose a cocktail and am told that 's not a good one, so I accept a recommendation. I didn 't like it. So basically, after an hour of being seated I still didn 't have a drink. Food was really good though. If you 're after a trendy spot thats loud and you want to be 'seen ' is a good place but if you 're after more of.an experience, there are a lot of.places near by that may be better

We went here for dinner with a large group. The food was just okay but mostly the atmosphere was dull and the music was putting us to sleep. We were hoping this would have more of a lively vibe but it is very chill. This restaurant came highly recommended but it was a disappointment.

Everything was incredible. The pork ribs are maybe the best I've had in my life. The tuna tostadas were also incredible.

Restaurante en un patio de estilo japonés, en medio de la vegetación, alejado del bullicio de otros bares de moda de la zona con música estridente. La comida de inspiración mexicana es muy buena y los platos tienen porciones razonables. El servicio es eficiente y sonriente. El restaurante es un poco caro, pero es lo que se espera en una zona turística. Es una lástima que te presionen un poco con la propina. Ten cuidado con los mosquitos, aunque el restaurante queme copal para alejarlos, pueden estar presentes en algunos momentos. Tuvimos una agradable velada y comimos muy bien.

Very good flavors! Fresh fresh seafood with great drinks. Would definitely recommend for after beach evening dining or for any part of your dinner plans throughout your stay. This place does have cats and is outdoor eating for your information. The ambience is still amazing and the cars are very nice.
