Tacos El Portal - Escondido

The food was truly terrible. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and everything we tried was bland and nothing special. To make matters worse, they expected us to return the food for a refund, even though we live on the other side of town. My husband mentioned that the quality of Mexican food in California is declining, and dining here only confirms that. If I could give it a negative rating, I absolutely would.

The restaurant does not use gloves while packaging food. When I politely requested that they wear gloves while preparing my order, they appeared offended. If you're looking for a place that might give you food poisoning, this taco shop is the one to choose.

I always try different dishes, but I absolutely love the super nachos! They're extremely delicious and incredibly filling. The service is consistently good, and there are plenty of salsas to choose from. It's fantastic!

Love the bacon breakfast burrito with no beans. It's a perfect 10. Been eating here for over ten years. It's the best!

The food is ok.And the old woman with the big nose is not her gift to be a cashier. Old army is embarrassing haha
