Leap Coffee Roastery - Escondido

I was in Escondido for a fun horseback riding lesson and looked for a place to get a coffee to go. Their location in Escondido is a limited menu and is comprised mostly of beverages....and the cold brew was delicious! I had a bit of their vanilla syrup too which I believe is made in house. I had a delightful chat with the owner and barista and the sweet pup of the shop too. I'm so thankful for Yelp and being able to find gems like Leap when I'm out and about!

Lovely spot for a quick breakfast and morning coffee, we got the ricotta toast, hashbrowns and a cinnamon latte. All were fantastic! The sitting area is very spacious and relaxing as well. Definitely making this a go to spot!

Incredible espresso.I was a little confused by the location as the old photos of this place suggest there was once a coffee shop to relax in, but it appears now they have moved to a different building. You walk in to a small office with a checkout counter and an adorable dog, but the owner is quick to greet you and make sure you’re taken care-of.

I'm incredibly excited that Leap Roastery is so close to my workplace! I've really missed Leap Coffee since their Carlsbad location closed, so I'm thrilled to have access to quality coffee here in Escondido. The coffee is just as fantastic as I expected, and their iced vanilla latte continues to be one of my absolute favorites in North County (shoutout to their house-made vanilla syrup!). The roastery is takeout only, but you don't have to order ahead or online, which is great! They only accept card payments since it’s not a traditional storefront, but the space has a cute and clean vibe, albeit a bit more utilitarian. I will definitely be returning! I also had a lovely conversation with the staff member there and was happy to hear that Leap is thriving in their Santa Fe Springs location.

Leap Coffee is fantastic! My friends introduced me to LP, and I'm so glad they did. The freshness is incredible; you get to pick up the beans just a day after they’ve been roasted. I ordered a 2-pound bag, and I've enjoyed every single cup. It's time to place another order!
