Anyone who understands making pizza would say that it should be sauce first, then cheese and finally toppings. Unfortunately, they have the pizza with cheese and a lot of it. And the floor is quite healthy and uncooked. What you end up at Filippi's in Escondido is a soggy and fat pizza that is absolutely terrible. The red sauce is sour and has a strange aftertaste. The finish in the dough makes the taste very sour, which must be irregular or warm temperatures and long fermentation time. People who rate this place 5 stars.. I wonder if they ever had a good pizza.. But they're not people.
Great for those who like to eat with their hands. I grew up in a real home, so I have a preference to use silverware. The food was good on the fat side. The interior of the restaurant was your traditional Italian restaurant. Similar to many of the New York Italian restaurants. My overall assessment is a 3 of a real Lord like me. Hello Sir
Absolutely love this place!!!! Can't say enough, the pizza is amazingly delicious as no other, covered in Mozzarella. The dough is perfection. You definitely have a family home recipe! I also love it, 2 meatballs with marinara sauce and garlic cheese bread, in the sky. The sauce is delicious!
Your pizza is worth every dollar! The fit for a king pizza is amazing every time. Unlike these other places, one thing is certain that they do not skip here. 5 stars every time.
Good food, extremely large portions and a bit of a long wait during cruisin grand but overall worth the wait.
