Burger Bench - Escondido

Burger Bench is likely the best burger spot in the county. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, and the ingredients are of exceptional quality, resulting in delightful flavors. They offer a selection of craft beer and craft soda as well. The service is always excellent as well. If there's any downside, it might be that the menu is somewhat limited or that sides are sold separately instead of being included with the burgers.

I visited this restaurant because I heard they had the best burgers in Escondido. I must say, they were indeed delicious! The burgers were a good size, well-assembled, and overall very satisfying. However, I have to take off one star since my bill for two burgers, a side of aioli tots (the absolute highlight of my meal), and a s'mores shake (the second best part, unique and incredibly tasty) came to $43, not including tip! While the food was tasty, I find it to be a bit overpriced. I will definitely return for the tots and shakes, and next time I’ll plan ahead and share a burger with my date!

The burger was decent, though it could use a bit more flavor. However, the tater tots and house ranch were excellent! The beer selection was nicely varied, with options for everyone. The service was fantastic; the staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. Despite the restaurant being busy, everything was served at a good pace. I would definitely return to try a few different types of burgers and see what else they have to offer.

We went to Potato Chip Rock and stopped here for lunch on the way back home. I saw this place on YouTube and wanted to check it out. Forget about calorie deficit. This is a treat after hiking! I am not a big fan of burgers, but Bench burger was good, and a lot of ingredients are locally sourced. It seems like a very popular place in this small town.

Great burgers and sides! There's some innovative burgers and toppings here, that make it worth the visit. The Chorizo Diablo is one of my favorites! They also offer a few different kind of burger patties as well, including a wagyu option instead of angus. Burgers are cooked to order, and can be made rare, medium, or even well done! Service is quick, and food is made to order quickly even when Burger Bench is busy! Overall great.
