Super friendly service and personnel, made us feel at home. Had a great steak, soup and carrot cake/coffee. Will be back.

Last night was fantastic! My friend and I savored the filet mignon along with the baked potato and sweet corn. I also ordered a salad, which was equally delicious. Our server, Judy, was incredibly attentive and truly exceptional.

Black Angus in Escondido was outstanding in every aspect.

The portion sizes were excessively large. Honestly, they should serve less food! I ordered the 12oz New Yorker strip steak, but after trying to cut it, I could hardly find 6oz of edible meat. I could have skipped the gym the next day instead of struggling to cut through the tough steak. I even requested a better knife, but it seemed the restaurant didn't care about the quality of the meat! My dining companions had okay dishes, but even the additional cost for the spatula resulted in overcooked food; most pieces were disappointing and tough. We expected much more from Black Angus, and we were very disappointed!

Barbara is the best bartender ever. it is nice to remember and she always makes my drink perfect! I was in happy hour. I have the loaded potato skins and the garnel cocktail. the loaded skins were good, but I found the garnels a little chew. I tried the new brisketfries. I liked the taste, but my pommes were a tad undercooked and I think I would like the brisket pieces a little bigger. I say that because the outside was a little crispy what I did, but it made the inner art dry because the pieces were so small. the manager asked me how it was, so I gave him my honest opinion.
