Although the city is in the best Franconian sausage country, blessed by nearby vineyards and beer breweries, my multi-day stay in culinary terms was not quite happy. Perhaps you should not be driven by spontaneity in summer, but carefully observe the gastronomic offer in advance, book a table and plan the visit. A tip for those who could visit the Poetenfest: The stands in the castle park offer every day snacks, rust sausages, regional drinks, coffee and coffee specialities (from a selected bakery and cakes at moderate prices, with a very customer-oriented and very composed. Here you can learn more about service and services than in stationary gastronomy these days. But this only at the edge and in the preamble – and unfortunately not GG-compliant, since the shrubs and stands cannot be evaluated. Now my last rating on the local offer. In the early Sunday evening, the Poetenfest players roll their suitcases to the station and I am also on the way. But I still have a little appetite, a little bit can be a little. Since the last days I have been rejected in restaurants, but often (no table reserved, local closures etc.). I love something holding back. In the Café Bassenese, very centrally located on the main road, near the city library, near the market place, but many guests are still sitting outside – and everyone seems to feel it. I suppose, carefully ask the next operation whether it is open, but it shakes a little ambiguous the head, can not say yes or no, only answers some hectic I want. Well, the local offer has a variety of ice cream specialties and ice cream cups (loud card large and colorful dressed, with coffee in all possible variations, cakes and small snacks such as flame cakes and crepes. Since the heart is excreted, I blindly choose a stabbing crepe that is still approved by service. What then lands on my table after a few minutes is a mistake – but the alleged Schokosauce is Balsamico cream and the filling of the crepe something with vegetables (Aubergines? Zucchini and actually cheese. Unfortunately, the Crepe-Teig makes a sweet note. It's irritating. At the end, however, the amount is still quite saturating and at the price of 5,20 Euro is also really cheap and completely okay. While I'm still eating, it's already packed around me, squeezed and harassed for the evening. I'm leaving. Then quickly to the toilet: it is really underground, both from the place and from the state. Bad light, steel doors, all quite stubborn and creepy. The key must be picked up at the counter. If I would like to pay at the end and ask for an extra printed bill, you are already quite stressed and hardly friends. All in all, bass anesis seems to have a good reputation and to be visited best, from a clientele once Queer Beet through all ages and nations. Apparently the ice tastes particularly good here. However, I have experienced staff as latently unfriendly, even more repulsive. I was only operated with a certain inconsistency. Maybe you're nicer to the regulars? The atmosphere of the restaurant was also something for me and filled with numerous benches and seats. For this you can sit comfortably outside, in the middle of the pedestrian area of Erlangen. If you don't just get a cracky bistro, just like me. With every bite I cut off, the whole arrangement tilts. Unfortunately, my last culinary experience in this city is also a rather ambiguous experience. No matter – the next visit will certainly be better!
The best café in Erlangen! Always come when I'm in town. The staff original Italian, the eis the best far and wide. The creations (also called ice cups or crepes) are stunning, and the operation is friendly and humorous. PS raised the Amarena cup and the Crêpe Donatella

Super espresso with beautiful crema and delicious spaghetti ice cream.
