L'aüt - Erill La Vall

We have lunch on the terrace as we are taking our dog, a very welcoming and fenced terrace, quiet, with views of the village church. We order a la carte as the menu is priced high for what they offer. We order 4 varied dishes (strawberry salad, carp croquettes, snails of the day and beef carpaccio), a dessert (tart tatin) and two drinks. All very good, tasty and good quantities. Friendly staff. Surprised to pay that they charge you an additional 10% without prior notice, we thought it was because of the terrace but we see in previous comments that it is the VAT which they also warn is not included. Overall price a bit high but it compensates for the atmosphere and quality, as well as how good everything was. Service: 4 Location: 4

My opinion is about the hotel restaurant being open to travelers who are not staying at the hotel. They present a daily menu to eat on the facade of the building for 23 Euros. Nothing is specified about VAT. When paying you are charged with an additional 10% VAT. They do not comply with the legal obligation to specify whether or not VAT is included in the price. The quality of the menu is equivalent to bars that offer menus for 10-12 Euros. I recommend avoiding this place
