The people who work here are amazing. scott (the owner) spoke to us for a few minutes while we make amazing drinks. the prices are appropriate here. atmosphere is great. many antique bar tools. if they do not smoke or hate the smell of smoke this place could not be for them, but the people l, atmosphere and drinks make for smoke odour. do not leave the outside of the building narr it this place is great.

Scotty’s jazz bar is still one of the best dipping in erie, pa. easy away from the beaten away this local hangout is always a more exciting way to finish the evening. my wife and I were not there in a few years and decided to review it. the place was so much fun! crawled and alive, but not so overpacked that you can't move. there was a live band with six or seven instruments (also a trombone saxophone) that were as-if they were at the blue note in nyc. the drinks were also fantastic, thanks to the veteran barkeepers who knew how to make a really dry martini for my wife. I ordered a tom collins and it was perfectly handmade. No one makes tom collins ever right, but scotty is delivered. great late night. thanks. scott and team, for an unforgettable evening.

Great atmosphere. music all the time. bartenders marlene and nikki rock! the doorman is also quite cool. he was from another country and told me his name, but I couldn't understand him.

The latest trend in bars seems to be the Speakeasy-Illusion. yes, there are a few choices in the Erie region, which is as such, but the original and authentic is definitiw scotty’s. the drinks that can make the bar staff are boundless and mixed. the atmosphere is covered and personal. Smoking is allowed in the bar, but they also offer cigars for sale, stored in their own walk in humidor. it can be nicheable, but it is a great experience. they also offer live music in their back room, especially at weekends. this has also given them the call of local and regional touring bands. scotty, marlene and mickey make this place all that he must be!

Best cocktails in town! Ambience is dark, velvet couches, awesome bar. Try mojito in summer, Chocolate Martini or ant martini, Old Fashioned. You’ve got to try it- guarantee you’ll keep going back!
