Mad Mex - Erie

I got the Blackbeanie Quesadilla with vegan cheese and tofu (be aware black bean mix has a small amount of dairy in it) and the tofu tacos. Safe to say the food far exceeded my hopes, and I have a high bar for food. The flavor of everything was unbelievable. Food never tasted this good even when I was stoned. On top of it all, all the staff and the manager were incredibly helpful and friendly. When my uber eats order failed to go through, they quickly bent over backwards to make my experience extra awesome. Highly highly recommend this place!

There were so many vegan options, I had a hard time choosing! I eventually went with the Herb’ ovores tofu tacos with guacamole. They were delicious! My tofu hating spouse tried a few bites and continued to eat the whole taco proclaiming it was the best tofu he’s ever tasted.

They have Daiya Vegan cheese, tofutti sour cream and tofu that can be substituted into anything.

Eating was good, would not go again if I had other options. they have many vegan options that are beautiful. I don't think it's that the vegan food is worse than the carnist food either as my companions who ate meat thought it was just good.

I love this place. whole weizen option for tortillas. vegan cheese and more acidic cream without price available. no styrofoam. delicious torfu burrito! highly recommended.
