But I liked the place. is located on the main road to erice and is a two-storey house. on the ground floor there is a shop without pastry shop (where you can also take something;) the restaurant is located on the upper floor. seemed like a typical Sicilian house with a living room, a sofa, tables, wardrobes. and the best thing: a terrace with spectacular views of the whole city and the coast.
One of our four paninis (old paestry and tasteless filling by the way) was highly ‘graduated’ by waiter who without any hesitation touched it by his hand and opened so he could see what was inside.
Don’t miss it. The area is magnificent and the views spectacular. Would go again in an instant. This place is about a mile high.
We visited the restaurant and was seated in the panorama terrasse on the top with a stunning view of the ocean and the sunset. We ordered pasta and a salat. The food was very bad. No taste and the service was also not very freindly compared. I would recommend anybody to find alternatives in the fantastic city of Erice.
It doesn't seem very nice to be stuck on the street and pushed to enter a local...but this restaurant is an exception, because the staff is kind and helpful. It could be a local trap where the tourist is deceived, but it's not exactly so...instead the dishes are exceptional, like the caponata (truly super) and busiates to the Trapani (not to lose.) you don't have to miss the sweet relationship. excellent also wine, a fresh catarrh. When we get back, we'll take the first step for the maria coffee.
