I recently ordered a dish for takeaway from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it took them 2 hours to complete my order and deliver it to me. Despite calling the restaurant multiple times, I was unable to reach anyone. When my order finally arrived, I was very disappointed with the bland taste of the briyani. Indian cuisine is known for its rich complexity of spices and seasonings, but this dish lacked authenticity. The rice and lamb were cold and difficult to chew, making it a less than satisfying experience. I would recommend that the restaurant reevaluate their menu, improve their service, and ensure that their chef can create authentic Indian dishes.
My husband and I ordered a takeaway after reading positive reviews. Sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered lamb vindaloo, which was blend and lacked spices. It came with 5-7 pieces of flavourless lamb, which is a bit mean considering the dish was almost £10. The only saving grace was the fried chillies on top. My husband’s chicken jalfrezi was also bland and watery. It was so watery, the rice was swimming with water once the curry was added on to the plate. The curries are certainly not authentic, believe me I’m Asian. Its been ‘westernised’ and not in a good way. Overall, a disappointing bland takeaway and we won’t be ordering again.
Le Raj Academy at Nescot is now called Rasika. The menu has changed but the food and service was great.
Very impressed! Their Roti filled curry wraps are to die for! Amazingly fresh! Lots of lunch time offers also! Can’t go wrong here. You must try this place out.
