When the food finally arrived, my mother’s order of Welsh lamb was incorrect. To make matters worse, they also forgot to bring our drinks, so we had to return to the counter to remind them. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the terrible service, and the bartender's demeanor was simply unprofessional. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment; it’s definitely not worth your time or money.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends for a meal. We ordered sea bass, which was served with potatoes and salad. Unfortunately, the potatoes were inedible because they were rock hard. My husband, who ordered steak, also tried to cut them with his steak knife but couldn't make any progress. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the cook replied, “I am doing my best!” While I understand that mistakes happen, when I raised the issue with the manager, she simply acknowledged the problem and said they would file a complaint. But who are they complaining to—the farmer? It seemed they didn’t realize the potatoes were undercooked. There was no apology or offer of a discount provided. As someone with Type 1 Diabetes, I needed to eat, but overall, the experience was very unprofessional and left a good meal ruined.

Great village pub with live music and monthly events. A warm and friendly family run business. Highly recommend the live music evenings and cider festivals that are held here.
