Country Deli - Ephrata

This was the first time I visited since the new owners took over in April. The only changes were the menu and the music. Still a great place for a down-home feeling.Food: 5/5

Loved the local feel of the place , the waitress was friendly and quick , the food was amazing .Hubby and I both had omelettes which tasted amazing , will definitely be back .Fifth time back here , it's that good! We drive from Moses Lake to eat here. Always good , always friendly ? the burgers are just out of this world . Had the bourbon sauce burger, it was so good as was the mushroom and swiss cheese one last week.

I decided to go grab the chicken fried steak from down there as it’s my favorite breakfast meal and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve had. The steak was tender, breading was great, and the gravy was something special. It came with eggs, hash browns and a side of toast and everything was cooked to order. I’ve had problems at other restaurants with getting over easy eggs a little undercooked but not here, they were perfect. The atmosphere is homey as any great diner should feel, and the service was fantastic! The prices were fair as well.

New coffee is VERY bitter!Often only one waitress and that takes away from personal and fun conversations and creates an atmosphere of anxiety.Prices have increased dramatically...portions are smaller.Will give it another try in a few months to see if there is any improvement.
