We went to Chefs Hat for breakfast and the experience was disappointing. After waiting 30 min to be seated (which wasn’t bad, it was a busy day) we were shown to our table and given breakfast menus. We sat at our table for 25 min and no server helped us. Finally we went to the desk to ask and the greeter said he would get someone right over and took our breakfast menus as it was now lunch. So we waited about an hour and still no food and now can’t have breakfast? We left and won’t return.
Good service and nice patio. My taco had no flavor, but my date said her quesadilla was good.
We ordered Quesadilla and added Shrimp for 8$. According Google in 4 ounces should be 10-11 medium shrimps. Instead we received 2 shrimps each cute on 3 pieces. I understand the restaurant need to make profit but also has to follow some rules. Very disappointed.
Never have I seen such a dysfunctional approach to running a restaurant. Breakfast (including on the weekend) ends at 11AM. Ok, fair enough. We (two) arrived around 11:30 AM on 6/16, 45-1hr. wait for a table. When we were called for our table, the hostess states would you like to wait here (entryway) or at the table? Wait, what? I was talking to someone, so didn 't want to get into a Q&A with the hostess. I responded quickly, If our table is ready, we 'll be seated After seated, we were told by the waitress we have to wait 20 mins to order lunch. Again, what? I am guessing they must transition their kitchen and can 't start taking lunch orders until the remaining Breakfast orders are out of the kitchen. After I saw a larger group (seated after us) orders being taken, I had enough. We walked out. The communication issues also exist with the foreign employees. Why won 't they look to limit their menu so that they could handle breakfast, lunch or brunch without all the seating and ordering dysfunction. These issues never existed in the past with Chef 's Hat.
