Bettina and peter are great hostess! the first impression may sometimes seem a little scary but they are both very kind and try to fulfill their guests every desire. eating is super tasty and for me as vegetarian there is always a meatless alternative. the guest rooms are all newly renovated and partly with balcony. a gasthof with a lot of charm and cozyness!

Very clean restaurant with great service. we were a big group and the thorny roast was on the spot exactly and we could all eat at the same time. the portions were very lush and special requests like extra sauce etc no problem. drinks have always been filled directly. service: 5 location: 5

After a day trip in the Black Forest we have made a bit of a trip in the gasthof löwen.The eating and the portion size was really top, price/performance more than good.The perhaps a little rough type of service, which has led to many negative reviews, is meant to my opinion simply their art and not “big”.We would look over again. :

My man and I discovered the lion last year for us. have been two more paints with the whole family there since. as well on the last weekend in September.It was as always great and we felt more than comfortable. very nice host, fantastic dinner, delicious breakfast, super nice and cozy rooms. better not go. we are looking forward to the next visit to you.
