Wendlandt Brew Pub - Ensenada

Regrets to come here. Attitude. Boss. It’s just a beer place with it’s own brewery which isn’t that good. More so the food choices show you they think the beer is great (it is not). We left after one beer, rather go to Agua Mala or some other brewery, not this one.

Wendlandts is a great success story, they started 7 years ago and are now a national and international known award winning brewery. This is where they brew the beer and hands down the best beer in Mexico right now. Their Stout (Foca Parlante) is the best, all their beers are good. Location is not fancy, but a great view of the ocean from the upper deck. They have the best ceviche hands down here too. and the beer is only 40 pesos during happy hour (little over $2). The downtown location is nice too, same good beer plus other brands and a wider menu of good food. Their fried string potatoes are GOOD. But I like the big outdoors. so hence the Wendlandts in El Sauzal is my favorite.

We came here for drinks but subsequently also for food on a couple of nights. It's a nice place. The beer is good and the food, somewhat surprisingly, is also very good.

Wendlant may look like any other craftsmanship, but do not let this fact distract you from the truth: you also have an amazing menu. Seriously, I'm not even a beer drinker (I always ask for natural lemonade), but I tried almost every dish they offer and everything is delicious. The variety of their menu (beer, drinks and food) makes this place perfect for any occasion. Try everything!
