Maya Cacao - Ensenada

We took a class here and it was so informative! We even have to grind cocoa beans and drink it as hot cocoa. Delicioso!

The best Mexican hot chocolate I've ever tasted. But also an excellent selection of other foods, all prepared there from fresh ingredients. Teresa and crew are great and patiently taught me a lot about chocolate. I have a new respect for the humble cocoa bean.

I drank the Maya chocolate with water and no sugar. While bitter and not taste good (I deliberately did not use honey to sweeten the drink), I drank the whole cup and was satisfied with the effect. I noticed an increase in body temperature and reduction of pain/inflammation. It was an advantage I didn't expect. I hope you offer this mix for sale online soon, I will be a regular customer. This is the place to go if you have an adventurous palate! The Maya hot chocolate is delicious. It is not a sweet drink, but it shows the delicate aromas of pure chocolate mixed with success and hot water. The other thing tried Pozol Maya, which is a frozen drink from corn flour, ice and chocolate. Yeah, it sounds weird, but it's very good. The seating was comfortable, the ambience was pleasant. Definitely a good place to try in Ensenada.

Loved the sweet and friendly girls that were working there along with the talented owners! Gelato is delish! We bought a ton of chocolate to bring back home for souvenirs!
