Burger King - Englewood

I dined here and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and the restaurant was generally clean, though there were a few crumbs on a nearby table. The food was enjoyable, and the fries were particularly fresh.

The cinnaminies were served cold and without icing, which I don't think is how they're meant to be presented. However, the rest of the breakfast was enjoyable, and the service was prompt.

The first Impossible Whopper my friend received was cold, so she returned it and asked for a new one. When her replacement arrived, it was hot, but it didn't have the vegetables she requested. Frustrated, she went back to the counter to speak with staff. The girl there grabbed the receipt and claimed it showed my friend had ordered it with specific modifications, which didn’t include the veggies. Given that six orders had been placed since hers, it seemed odd that they would simply rely on a receipt like that. My friend insisted that wasn't her order, prompting the manager to intervene and request that they remake the sandwich. While all this was happening, my friend noticed some onion rings being served, so she ordered a couple of batches. In a kind gesture, the manager gave her the onion rings for free, which made her very happy when her Whopper finally came out correctly. Meanwhile, I unwrapped my sandwich only to find that mine was cold too. I took it back, leaving behind just the bottom bun, and asked if they could microwave it for 30 seconds. I also asked if I could pay 50 cents for cheese. I mentioned that the number of pickles and all the toppings were perfect. The manager assured me it was no problem and explained what needed to be done. I ended up with a perfectly warmed open-faced Impossible Whopper with cheese on top, and it was delicious! Somehow, amidst all that, we also ended up with an order of french fries. So, while it wasn’t the ideal dining experience, the manager at this Burger King definitely saved the day and prevented our visit from going off the rails.
