Bolts Sports Cafe - Englewood

Went to Bolts Sports Cafe in Englewood. When we came in, the place was full and there were some big parties. There were only two bartenders, and one of them also served tables. It took a few minutes to welcome us, but nothing terrible. I ordered the chicken pliers and my friend ordered the boneless wings. Our server gives me my food, and before he even gives it to me, tells me that she doesn't know what's wrong with the chicken breeders, but they're too small, and she asked the kitchen to do more. I wish I had made a comparison photo, because the replacement chicken that was taken out was just three times as big as what I did here. I was really remarkable that the server was proactive and fixed a problem when I didn't even know there was one! The boneless wings were bigger than expected. Both ducks were really good and after we got extra chicken due to the mistake with my offers, we both ended up going with boxes. Once the big parties were cleared out and our server breathed, it was joking with us and much more relaxed. Later we found out that the computers of the restaurant were on, and they had written all night hand tickets and receipts. Our server didn't give any excuses for the whole time we were there, she just told us because she had to bring us our check and explain that she would need a few minutes if we wanted a punctuated reception. Overall a very pleasant experience for a low-key Saturday night!

Friendly staff, nice cold draft beer selection. Good menu, with great hot dishes.
