Calif. Chicken Cafe - Encino

The Chicken Champion of SoCal. California Chicken Cafe is all star in the Los Angeles restaurant game. The food is very fresh, very tasty, and you can find something for everyone there. They pay attention to the details and go the extra mile. Their iced tea is fresh brewed, who else does that? I dare anyone to walk in there, and smell the chicken and see the chicken slowly rotating on the rotisserie and not get hungry. Or to see the fresh cooked hot potatoes, mashed potatoes, unique pasta dishes and hot soups and not start thinking about a meal completely comprised of sides. Oh and get this, fresh baked cookies! Additionally, you owe it to yourself to try their BBQ sauce (trust me I'm from Memphis, TN originally).<br/ <br/ This place is a must. It is essentially my version of cheers, I am there at least 2-3 times a week, sometimes even 5 days. I never get tired of it. Try adding avocado and the feta to your salad, you'll be glad you did.<br/ <br/ If you want a healthy, tasty, fast meal at an excellent price, go to California Chicken Cafe.<br/ <br/ This warrants repeating... FRESH BAKED COOKIES!!!

First thing first. Three words that sum up California Chicken Cafe for me would be 'Fresh Ingredients always. ' This is most definitely a go to lunch choice of mine. I try to partake in a California Chicken Cafe salad at least one to two times a week. Very large portioned salads are to be had here. There is basically five salad choices that you can add to or subtract ingredients to suit your taste. Additional vegetables, proteins, pasta, and many other ingredients can be added to your salad for very low additional charges. I usually tack on about three dollars worth of yummies to my salad. My favorite go to salad would be the 'California Chicken Salad. ' Another plus is that the dressings are always served on the side, so the salad travels well. Meaning you can eat it later after driving it back to work, home, etc. California Chicken Cafe also prepares about eight or so wraps with white or wheat pita bread. They also specialize in rotisserie chicken and offer about a dozen sides to accompany a chicken order. You must try one of the five homemade juices featured at the California Chicken Cafe. My favorite is the lemonade. Downloading their App makes ordering easier by keeping your favorite orders stored. They really shuffle you through quickly with their curbside food delivery service. Give it a try you won 't be disappointed.

They only have curbside pickups for now, so call ahead because they were super busy when I was there. I hadn't been by there in a long time and forgot how tasty their wraps are. Everyone must agree because there was a non-stop line of cars coming and picking up while I was waiting because I hadn't called or apped ahead!

We've been ordering from here for a few years and the quality has not changed. The salsas are good, the chicken is great, salads are fresh, customer service is good. Definitely a great place to get a meal and not feel bad about it after.
