Our new go to place, especially given Starbucks’ terrible track record on political matters and employee rights.

Best Coffee in San Diego. These guys know their stuff. Whenever I 'm working in the area I ALWAYS make time to stop in for a Triple Cappuccino...... Forget About It ? ? Matt is a true artist with that foam.

Peet's Coffee is the best! One star off on food because they discontinued the absolute best all-time scone, the lemon poppy seed scone, it had true scone texture and great flavor and was not slathered in icing. Unfortunately the remaining scones at least for me are all too sweet, chewy/doughy or too much icing, but friends who like things really sweet still love them. A little tiny feta and egg white quiche is surprisingly healthy and tasty if you like savory. They croissants are delicious, but pretty high cow and sweet for those of us watching calories. But it's all about the coffee, and Peet's Coffee is outstanding. Service is always great too, very friendly and the Baristas get to know you very quickly. It's my go-to coffee place in San Diego.Vegetarian options: Almond, soy and oat milk available, most drinks can be non-dairy and or vegan without much problem

It is posted online that this location closes at 6pmI arrived at 5:30 and the doors were locked with employees inside. There were customers outside that said they locked the doors at 5:25pm.This was very disheartening because I love Peet's coffee.

Nice quick drip coffee, not overpriced. Warm almond croissant. Restrooms are a plus. No fuss service. Seating indoors, but looks a little overcrowded. Coffee and croissant were good
