Peace Pies - Encinitas

I didn't expect to be blown away by the food at this unpretentious little cafe with the lovely outdoor patio, but I am so glad I made my way here. For the longest time, the name fooled me, and I thought this was a pizza place so I didn't bother to explore it further. This raw vegan restaurant is such a gem. The food is outstanding, and the service is super fast and friendly. Deciding what to order was a challenge, because there were so many delicious-sounding choices. The Magical Mango Curry Wrap made with a housemade coconut meat and curry wrap was filled to the brim with avocados, mangos, carrots, red cabbage and sprouts and was served with a coconut curry sauce and cheezy kale chips. This dish was so incredibly delicious, it just about knocked me off my feet. And the Milkyway Mylkshake that was so lovingly made for me (I requested it made without hemp), was a chocolate lover's dream. That shake was so amazing, I stopped here the next day on my way to the airport to have one more.

Cannot say enough about how much I love this place. The people, the food. Everything is amazing. And I especially love the holiday meal catering pre-prep they offer. Want the best vegan Thanksgiving or Christmas meal ever??? Stop by and ask to get added to the list! :

We went to celebrate birthdays with my friends and Introduced them to the Vegan lifestyle. They absolutely loved the food and ambiance on the patio! I’ve tried most everything on the menu and it has all been very tasty. My friends purchased items from the fridge for their families to try. This is my go to place

New to SD, we spent a year looking for a good raw vegan place and finally, here it is! We had 3 dishes enchiladas, burger and mango wraps and a Mehta chocolate cake for desert and they all very GREAT! Tasty, well prepared and served. Great service, great prices and great experience. Waiting to come back!

Hands down best vegan ever and its RAW. this place beats out a lot of similar places in la. fresh and great for lunch after surfing.
