Lofty Coffee Roasting Works - Encinitas

I was invited to grab a coffee and work with a friend during the week in the summer. To be honest, I had no idea this coffee shop existed! It was a wonderful surprise! As I approached, I noticed plenty of dog-friendly seating, and everything was so new and clean. I ordered a mocha along with a sea salt chocolate chip cookie—because who doesn’t love a cookie? When my coffee arrived, I realized it was a mocha made with ganache. It was served to me at my table, which was an unexpected delight. This is undoubtedly the fanciest mocha I’ve ever had, and it did not disappoint. I’m not a coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate when there’s real care involved in making something. I will definitely be coming back, and I’ll probably bring my dog next time!

One of my favorite coffee shops in North County! They serve excellent coffee, have fantastic views, and offer a wonderful outdoor seating area with a great atmosphere. Plus, the wifi is reliable. What more could you want?

The baristas are incredibly friendly, and the croissants and pastries are delightful. I really enjoy working in the outdoor area on sunny days. The street can get a bit noisy if you’re taking phone calls, but overall, it has a fantastic atmosphere.

Extraordinary cup of coffee every single time. I also mail order my coffee beans from them (I live an hour away) for freshly roasted coffee at home. I am never disappointed, and it's fun tasting all the different varieties.

Passing through Escinitas and am I ever happy I stopped here! Besides a friendly barista, this is the best latte I have had, definitely in the top five of all time. Wonderful flavor! Easy walk to the beach for a bit of solitude.
