Osteria Donna Riccarda - EMPOLI

Beautiful setting, perfect food and a perfect host. We visited this restaurant on July 12th. We ordered way to much, our host warned us already. He offered us to stop after the primi… We couldn’t have finished otherwise.

Dined here twice during my stay at the adjoining B&B. The food is very good and the wine is exceptional value- I thought €8 would be for a glass not a bottle! The menu is limited but all the food is freshly prepared. No Pizza on the menu and didn’t notice any seafood. Cheese starter was really nice and enough for two. Would normally expect this instead of a desert. Car park full of locals every night is perhaps the best accolade.

Nice restaurant on the hills around Empoli. Typical atmosphere that you would expect in Tuscany without being subject to city restaurant dynamics.. Definitely a place for mean lovers with plenty of options to choose from. Loads of locals there for dinner too which is a good sign.

La posizione è molto bella. Il cibo è decente ma niente di eccezionale. Il servizio è un po' scadente.

Abbiamo pranzato alla famiglia sabato 4 giugno, la posizione è ottima, il servizio è eccellente, il cibo è da 10 e la bistecca e le verdure fritte sono da 20 perché da 10 sarebbero troppo basse, il prezzo è giusto per la qualità e il servizio del cibo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff, torneremo presto. Fabio dalla scopa.
