Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped at the Winzerstube after a trip to Schwarzwald. Eating was fine, except the Pommes frits that were much too salted. But the big problem was the attitude of the female waitress. At first, she made a comment on our dog who was "a danger for her to travel over" ... the dog was right next to our table and she had to move over a meter of space. When we finished eating, there was a group with two disabled people who offered our table because the rest was occupied. When I went home to pay for our bill, I was quite shaken that I was impatient, and when I tried to explain why I wanted to pay, she got a real temperament... worst experience in a German restaurant!
Very beautiful and well presented. The fillet was one of the tenderest I ever tasted. All exquisite. Very attentive service. And the accompanying wine was the best choice. Thank you.
The food was excellent. Every night we were pampered with delicious local products. The food was a kullinary experience we will never forget. The chef deserves a three Michelin star rating.
The restaurant in the Hotel Hirschen is very pleasingly furnished, using light coloured wood offset with dark textiles and displaying interesting art. Seating is comfortable and spacious. The lay out of the restaurant offers privacy and quit. Thierry Esch and his team prepare fresh regional ingredients...and achieve dishes outstanding in taste and presentation without ever losing the local touch. There is a very comprehensive local wine list. Try the local reds. The service is very friendly, but at times apparently still in training. Given the standard, there is good value for the money. Overall highly recommended.
Wir kamen zum Abendessen und nahmen Platz auf der Terrasse. Die Bedienung zickte etwas (ich hab Angst vor dem Hund) obwohl dieser dalag und gar nicht an der Bedienung interessiert war. Die Karte war bunt gemischt aber z.B. ohne Filet oder gleichwertiges Fleisch. Ich bestellte als Hauptgericht die Rinderspitzen mit Pfeffersauce, die besser Fleischbrocken vom Rind genannt werden. Die Bedienung (eine Kollegin hat den Tisch übernommen) war freundlich und nett. Die Speisen waren ok. Die Art und Weise wie die Speisen angerichtet waren könnte ohne viel Aufwand erheblich verbessert werden.
