Rob Ben’s Lounge - Emeryville

I have recently been traveling to the Bay area, and as a CT native, Rob Ben 's is a place that can make anybody feel at home. I 've had the pleasure of dining there twice and it went from great to greater. I had completely different meals each time and both delicious. The place is always clean and organized, and the staff is warm and welcoming. I 've even had the pleasure of meeting Miss Kecia, Shawny and Lil Shawny, who as family team up to make Rob Ben 's the best experience ever. The cocktails are unique, perfectly mixed, and never watered down. The service comes with not just a smile but warm greetings and quick response. The food is so flavorful and the portions are enough to give you the itis . Not to mention the Henny cake, the sauce is finger sucking good! Everytime I touch down in the Bay area, I will be making a stop there. Thank you to the whole staff there. With love, from Connecticut.

Dined at Rob Ben's on a Sunday afternoon. Loved everything ordered from the perfectly fried chicken wings, collards, greens, red beans, and rice. The yams were just the right sweetness, and the Mac n' cheese is very good The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I always rate restaurant restrooms, and Rob Ben gets 5 It was spotless with a fresh scent.

I came in with a group of about 12 after Church, I was skeptical at first, but I tell you, the food was excellent! I had the turkey wings, friends had the humongous fried seafood plates and smothered porkchops, I sampled all and everything was so good! Our waitress was wonderful so I didn't mind tipping her extra, and the cook came out to introduce herself and she was so gracious, do yourself a favor and check them out, you won't be disappointed. Came here after struggling to find a brunch spot on Sunday and boy am I glad I came to Rob Bens. I got the garlic shrimp and grits and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the smothered oxtails and rice with Mac and cheese and yams as his side and they were amazing! Definitely will need a nap after this meal but it didn’t feel greasy or unnecessarily heavy. The best part of our experience was the service. Both our server and the chef checked on us and made sure we didn’t have to ask for anything. Courteous funny and amazing at anticipating your needs. Definitely recommend and will be back!
