The bartender, Dirk, is awesome. Very friendly and great to talk to, and will help you find a drink if you're unsure what to order. Good variety of seating options. The bar has shuffleboard and a pool table, which is great. Also a fun jukebox and dart board. The crowd can be a little rough some nights and their music choice can be less than stellar. But a more interesting and intimate bar than you find in the casinos.

This is a fantastic dive bar. We spent the entire night playing shuffleboard with some local miners. It can get pretty noisy on a Saturday night, but that's just part of the charm of this place. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was friendly. The bartender was especially nice and we never had to wait long for our drinks, even when it got crowded. I would definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a few drinks if you have the opportunity to visit.

Free drinks from staying at Hotel Nevada brought me in here, and I had a good time. An upgraded jukebox, nice sound system, and friendly folk are inside. Patron shots were $7. Can get very smoky, but that doesn't bother me. If your passing through Ely, this place accommodates.
