Grand Ely Lodge Resort Conference Center

Stayed here for one night for a work trip and wished I could have stayed longer! All of my coworkers agreed: Room was exceptionally clean (if a little north woods dated) and very comfortable. Food was great tons of easy options. Just remember to make reservations because it gets BUSY. And the service was top notch I just stayed at the 5 star Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta for my honeymoon and I told my husband that I felt more welcomed at the Grand Ely. I’m already looking for dates for when I can bring the family up for a few days.

4.5 overall. Perfect spot to stay after a week in the BWCAW. We had a lake view and could open the windows glorious. The sauna and hot tub were both a treat. The service was top notch able to check in early, had a few items we were missing, and Kathy at the bar was the best! Would recommend! If you're in Ely MN. This is the spot. Very close to down town, close to lakes walking paths, ATV paths, fishing etc. Walkability: Close to trails. Walkable if you're semi fit to downtown. Rooms: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
