Tami Bubble Tea - Elwood

So I must say, I have searched high and low for bubble tea on Long Island given my true love for it. And it certainly is great to have a local place in the area. The service whenever I order from here is always amazing and the owner is very kind and helpful. In addition there's a good selection and decent flavoring. Regardless, in my opinion the flavor of the tapioca balls are of no comparison to the ones from Kung Fu Tea (which are my favorite). If you like bland tapioca this is the place for you, but if you're looking for sweet and tasty it may not be a good fit. Maybe they just need to be soaked a bit longer in the sweet syrup...Regardless it's always worth a shot to try all bubble tea places since you never know!

The tea is honestly the best Ive had!. Its awesome and doesn't have that milky creamy vibe to it. More refreshing than the icecream type of consistency. The only issue is the management. Im on the go alot and need to be places and anytime I try to call in an order or spend a good deal of money, it seems they dont want me to and have trouble picking up the phone. It happens a good deal which is unfortunate because I like the product very much. it's starting to make me look elsewhere or wait for a day when I do have more time to order in house and wait for a bit.

If I could give it less than one star I would. I came in and ordered with the lady behind the counter after waiting there for over 5 minutes to be helped. After ordered I was asked to sit and wait. I waited for 40 minutes and was then told to give her more time to finish the drinks. 3 other people came in and left while I was waiting for mine. Absolutely terrible.

Tea tasted good (a bit overly sweet) but the boba was really mushy and tasteless.

Extremely long wait time, and bad service. very understaffed. Ordered one drink, they forgot our order after 30 minutes of waiting.
