Just walked over from Grasmere and had lovely hot mulled wine and beautiful mushroom soup . Staff extremely friendly and helpful and all Covid precautions in place totally recommended this great pub.

A lovely old Lakeland pub, with comfortable clean rooms, good beer selection, good wholesome food, friendly and attentive staff and sensible prices. A place for nice people who don't have expectations beyond their budget!
