After six days and six different restaurants in Elounda: “The Rakaki” is the best restaurant in town! Very high quality of food, a live band every Tuesday and Thursday, the location is very nice and the hosts are super, super nice! We're going there again!!! We recommend! Simply amazing! Very professional and kind staff, live greek music, great location and ambiance and what can I say about the food and the flavours. The artichoke mezze was spot on, the meatballs full of flavour and the pork chop with the herbs and the mavrodafni sauce was something to remember. I really wished I had more days to spend in the area to visit the place once more so as to try the rest of the menu, which by the way I found it had a lot of originality in terms of delicacies, if you compare it with your standard greek tavern. A big “Bravo” to the owner/s and staff!
