Metcalfe Restaurant - Elora

This was the weekend of the Nearby Fergus Highland games, so they should have been prepared. We were on the patio and after 7 minutes we went upstairs to ask if we could be served. The place was emptyWe both ordered burgers, mine with Swiss and mushrooms. The buns were stale and this was your regular frozen blah hamburger patty. Over cooked frozen French fries to boot. Skip this place and go across the street to the Shepherds pub. The only thing this place has going for it is the outdoor patio

After enjoying a nice day at elora quarry me and my boyfriend decide to try out this restaurant. I had the fish burger and he had the chicken finger, when the meals came to us my fish burger was so sauced up with tartar sauce and mayonnaise I took one bit and I was done. My bun was so soggy before it got to the table. I was disgusted. My boyfriend got the chicken fingers, he took one bit and his chicken was the most fatty pieces of chicken I've ever seen. Not to mention when the server gave us water the lemon on the glass rim was brown. Food quality, bad.

Whenever i have time in elora, i come for the hot wings breaded. Arguably the best wings around and the service is always friendly.

Has been awhile since our last lunch at the Metcalfe Restaurant on the patio. Service was very good! Food was average. Great place to relax while shopping and enjoy a cold one. Will be back.

I really enjoyed my time at Metcalfe. I like the place's features. Me and my girlfriend ordered chicken wings and nachos and they were delicious!!!!!! They have two pool tables at the top part. The patio is quite nice too.
