Perky’s Fish Chips - Elmvale

This restaurant offers a good variety of food at a fair price. Unfortunately, the fries we ordered were dry and could have been better. I will give them another chance next time, and if the fries improve, I will update my review. The restaurant has a charming setup with picnic tables for outdoor dining, and the surroundings are clean. There are limited parking spaces available at this location, and some visitors from the nearby Elmvale Zoo also dine here.

From montreal in elmvale to visit and treated to absolutely tasty fish chips by perky’s, a cute little street stand. many colorful flowers in hanging pots draw their eye. the atmosphere is cheerful. friendly, friendly service of fish was the excellent. the selection of fish also...Halibut,Haddock cod and pickerel. we took halibut and pickerel. very easy to break, so mostly fish. large pieces, not greasy, and served hot and flock! there are picnic table fresh to eat before spot. for those who are skeptical to find a large fish tasty bites in the agricultural farm, be assured that they will be pleasantly surprised.

I stopped here just like one would at a zoo. It's a fantastic spot for enjoying fish and chips, burgers, and sausages. It's a wonderful little roadside stop.

The fish and chips were delicious and generously portioned. There were plenty of parking spots and tables available. We enjoyed our lunch despite the rainy weather. The restaurant is only a 10-minute drive from the horse sports resort.

My family and I have been getting fish and chips from here for years. Usually the quality of the food is amazing and the meal always came with huge portion sizes. I went to perkys for the first time this season and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I ordered the halibut meal paid about $17 for a tiny piece of fish that was VERY greasy, and about 15 French fries. It was the size of a half eaten kids meal. I did go back to let them know and see what they could do about it… they justified this was normal… and gave me about 15 more French fries to compensate….. they also forgot the tartar sauce. Very disappointed and unfortunately I think this hidden little gem isn’t a hidden gem anymore and the quality is going downwards to try and make more of a profit. I’ll be looking elsewhere to get my fish and chips fix this summer.
