Burger King - Elmont

I placed an order on the app at 10:21 PM and arrived at 10:25 PM to pick it up. There were a few other customers waiting for their orders as well, but it took a while for the staff member at the counter to acknowledge anyone. Eventually, they informed us that they were closed. This is the fifth time this has happened, with the same employee saying they are closed and refusing to fulfill orders that were already placed through the BK app or delivery services like DoorDash and UberEats. It really makes me hesitant to order from this location again.

I visited this restaurant three times this week, and each time it was closed because the staff was on their lunch break. It doesn't make sense to have three employees all taking their break at the same time. I won't be coming back again.

It's great that the food is prepared right in front of you, but it gets cold very quickly. Also, I don't like gas station BKs because they're are not in tune with mainstream stores, such as they don't take coupons and you're not allowed to keep your receipt because you have to pay the gas station owner, who owns it. They also lack full menus. If you ever keep a copy of your receipt, Google their information and you'll be surprised.

The two Big Kings I ordered were amazing! Many leagues better than the Burger Kings in the Bronx.
