Bernie Murray's - Elmira

My husband and I enjoyed delicious food at this restaurant that we visited with our family.

The experience was fantastic. The service was excellent. Parking can be challenging in the autumn.

Naturally, the prices at this restaurant have gone up. The chicken wings cost $18, but you get 14 of them and they are delicious. The house-made blue cheese was absolutely perfect! However, the burgers were not as good as I remembered. They seemed pre-made and not as special as before. My partner really enjoyed the shrimp in his pasta. Our waitress was friendly and the drinks were well-made. It appears that the restaurant is still cash-only. Despite some disappointments, we would return because the overall dining experience is usually good.

This place has been here as long as I can remember. They've great wings.. just be sure to ask for fresh wing sauce, as they make so many, it can tend to get a bit salty. The Big Bernie Berger (with chesse) is just that. BIG! And a tasty Americana classic. Be sure not to get med- rare because the big is so big and good you will eat it all and then may loose all the harder to digest rare meat later..and beware... they put mayo on their burger!!! And..YOU HAVE TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN CATSUP FOR TAKEOUT!!!!! But they've make mark. And they are welcoming at all hours.
