Riley's Gathering Place - Elmhurst

A great casual spot in the neighborhood! The food was quite good, and the drinks were enjoyable. No complaints at all... we had a wonderful time!

The food was decent overall. The salad and coleslaw were both enjoyable, but I found the sliders to be lacking; the meat was a bit sparse and not as fresh as I would have liked. We also felt somewhat out of place, as if we weren't regular customers, and it gave the impression that we weren't very welcome. Since it's a neighborhood spot, we chose to visit because it was nearby and one of us shared the same last name. However, I probably wouldn't return.

Great place for Food and Drink They make you feel like FAMILY

You could call this a classic neighborhood dive, but it's so much more. Food is great. Service is friendly. Location is hidden away. Live music some nights, outdoor seating when it's warm. Just a great bar for lunch, dinner, or drowning away sorrow.
