Panahar Tandoori - Elmbridge

The restaurant has a smart and tidy interior. The staff is friendly and energetic. The food is enjoyable but tends to be on the salty side (even for someone like me who enjoys salt). Prices are reasonable. While the hygiene rating is only 4 stars, everything else, including the overall experience, deserves a 5-star rating.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were able to make a last-minute reservation for a party of 4 on a Saturday night, and every dish we tried was delicious. The wobble bhajia was especially fantastic. The lamb was tender, and the paneer was made with fresh spinach and cardamom. The wait staff were plentiful and attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is absolutely stunning. The staff were polite and helpful, the food was delicious, and the prices were fair. The waitress was able to quickly arrange a taxi for us to get back home. I didn't catch their names, but they were truly wonderful.
