Kettle Range Meat Company Elm Grove

I love this place for the daily take home meals and the fact that the filet melts in your mouth. My dog also loves the beef heart jerky treats. The owner and staff are wonderful as well. I strongly recommend this place.

Deleted our previous 5 star review. My family I decided to walk over from our favorite play place to grab some meat for dinner quick. The women behind the counter told me twice to put the meat I just grabbed out of the cooler onto the counter. I didn?t know she was talking to me the first time. This has never happened before. We have spent a lot of money supporting this small business. I don?t know if it was because I was wearing my daughters diaper backpack or what the real problem was but She said it was because the meat was ice cold. If that was the case she could have easily offered me a basket, yet she didn?t and continued to have a smug look on her face as I checked out. We were going to buy some other things but we decided not to after that. We take a lot of pride in supporting small local businesses and We are so disappointed with the service we received. We won?t spend another dime at this store.

The meal kits they offer are a fantastic concept, but they're quite pricey for what you receive. I ordered the pork belly taco kit, and while I know that pork belly is a fatty cut, I was disappointed to find that after cooking the meat and rendering the fat, there was only enough for 2.5 tacos! Definitely not worth the $22.00.

The prime rib was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were exceptional. I will definitely be returning!

This place is well worth every penny for high-quality, locally sourced, humanely raised meat. While we live a bit too far for regular delivery or daily trips, we make it a point to stock up our freezer often. This is the only butcher we really trust.
