Great ad cozy little place in downtown Ellwangen. Food is excellent (go for the platters!) at a reasonable price. They used to give you a free ouzo though, apparently not happening anymore so was slightly disappointed about that. Still, the best Greek restaurant in town.

Not many restaurants were open on Wednesday evening in ellwangen. we had luck that retsina taverna was open. friendly service and delicious Greek cuisine made the evening. will surely come back during my next trip.

Very nice place, cozy, good service, menu not so big, but a good mix of choices, and the prices are in the middle segment for ellwangen, definely a good place to eat in ellwangen
