5 stars for the apple cider donuts alone! These are the best apple cider donuts I?ve had in northern Michigan were worth the hour drive! They have both glazed cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts I liked the cinnamon sugar a bit better. The donuts were warm, soft, tender flavorful! The gift shop other baked items looked good but we went during apple fest it was way too crowded. Definitely would return for the donuts cider!

There are a lot of markets dotting the highway through this section of Michigan, but Friske's caught our attention so we pulled in to take a look. I think that I need a calendar for when the fresh fruit will be at its peak, but even if you miss the peak season there is still plenty of fun food products available in this market. In addition to the food products, they have a lot of different gift and home items for your to choose from. There really is a lot going on here. The bakery is cranking out fresh pies and bread. I got a slice of the cherry pie which was excellent even after traveling in the car for a while after we bought it. We enjoyed our stop here an picked up a few things. Great if you need a quick break from the road.

Very fun place to take the family for a day of fun...Many different things to keep you busy. A park hay ride apple smashing and eating stone fired pizzas. Don't forget the delicious doughnuts and cider, pretty mums and the beautiful view from the hill!!

Stopped here for peaches. They have everything imaginable in a farm market. They also make a lot of their own food. Huge playground for the kids.

This place is always on my list of stops when I head north! I got some great jams, preserves and cherry coffee! They also have stormy Kroger hats!
