Fogtown Brewing Company - Ellsworth

Be sure to check out this amazing spot when you're in town! It’s a brewery with a bar, featuring a spacious beer garden and an outdoor stone oven for pizza. Tonight, there was a fantastic jazz band performing, creating a wonderful atmosphere!

The jalapeño popper pizza was absolutely amazing! I can’t stop thinking about that crust! I also sampled four different draft beers, and they were all excellent, but the imperial stout was definitely my favorite. The restaurant has live music on Friday nights, making it a perfect spot to unwind after visiting Acadia. It’s definitely worth spending an evening here!

I had a quick visit to try some samples, and I really enjoyed the beers. The flavors were excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable.

Great beer options, but pizza cook stopped cooking around 4:30, despite staff taking orders, and brewery not closing till 9 pm. Great outdoor garden, friendly and knowledgeable counter staff. We would have dropped another $100+ if they kept the pizza oven cooking; other groups left as well.

We arrived on a Tuesday at about 6:30 pm at the Ellsworth location. We had read about the great pizza. There were tables available and we sat down. We were told it would take 1 hour 20 minutes to get the pizza and did we want to order it. I couldn't believe this time frame and asked the waitress to confirm that amount of waiting time for a pizza. Obviously they do not have the capacity to provide pizza in a reasonable time frame. If you want pizza, call ahead to see how to get it there because we did not want to wait that long. We did not stay.
