Contribuiți la feedbackSunday lunch with old friends: Today it is not the two-hour lunch types, it is a group of old friends from NHS to come together. Most of us had the Ribs and Brisket Platter some had the Pulled Pork and we all agreed that the food is fantastic. The bark on the brisket has a pepper taste that is different and very tasty. The baked beans are good and the Slav has a cucumber taste on it, so if you like me and don't like the taste of cucumbers you might want to try something else. The sauce is a bit smokey and is served on the side for diving, but you can try without eating the sauce, the meat has its own taste and does not need any help. All this is a great BBQ joint and we recommend you stop the ribs and try what still sounds good for you. And all my High School Friends .. It was so nice to see you all again that we do this more often.
Tonight we both had an excellent brisket sandwich with Cole Slav and baked bean sides. And the counter was manned by a sweet young lady.
Big grill. I had the bride and ribbed plate for lunch. Brisket was great, ribs were really good. I had the homemade potato chips and beans as sides. Nothing special about these, but still a little above the average. Service was a little slow considering that BBQ is precooked overnight. But the meat has taken care of it!
Thank you. Windowsill BBQ for a catering a wonderful end of the season volleyball banquet for the Lafayette Lancers. The food came fresh, warm, damp and tasty. The salad was a huge hit, the dressing is a not too sweet supplement to the greens and pecans. The chicken had a big smoked taste and pulled pig is always melting in your mouth. I never have to worry about having enough food for all of you. Thanks again and stop the great work.
Good BBQ, Smoked Meats, Sides Desserts Good thing is that the place is friendly, welcoming, and generally a nice quiet place to have dinner with one to maybe a dozen. The bad thing is EVERYONE in the area KNOWS about this place and its food. So, while you may get lucky and get to eat a late dinner here or try to close the place down, the betting line is that if you don't get here early, reserve a plate for take out or dine in, you may not get to try this wonderful food. Their sides are hit and miss, but the Mac-n-cheese and Rhubarb Apple Sauce are great and spot on every visit. The bbq-beans and most other sides are maybe, or not, to your liking. And if you like real, country style, homemade sausage, you must give theirs a try, think meatloaf slices, not tube stuffed fingerlings, yummy.
