Grandma's Swedish Bakery - Ellison Bay

So a great place to get a delicious and homemade breakfast!

If they are located in this part of the half island, the bakery is one must stop especially for their pecan rolls. the only gluten-free product was the monster cookies. both delicious, but expensive.

A must-visit every time we are in Northern Door County... fantastic pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls, among other bakery goods.

The older woman who works here is absolutely charming. She took extra pecans from the tray and generously piled them onto my pecan roll. She's always cheerful and ready to assist. The cherry nut bars are outstanding!

I picked up a donut, but as soon as I got in the car and took a bite, I realized it was a week old. "Stale" doesn't even begin to describe how awful it was. I'm glad I didn't eat in; otherwise, I might have ended up telling off the employees. What's the point? It's clear they don't care and are just looking to take advantage of tourists.
