The restaurant offers a wide variety of cupcakes and broth, but it appears they might be closed for renovations. It's best to call ahead, as there was a sign on the door indicating that they are temporarily closed for updates. It seemed like they were going out of business, as everything was cleared out from the premises.

I have tried many of her baked goods and was generally quite pleased until I ordered a cake for a special occasion. The cake was visually stunning, but unfortunately, it tasted awful. It was incredibly dry, like the desert, and no one could eat it. I was left feeling very disappointed and embarrassed. I honestly would have preferred a store-bought cake.

While I was there, another customer bought cupcakes for her daughter, who was having a tough day at home and often comes in weekly for her treats. She also mentioned that the bread is fantastic. The location is easily accessible, near Vernon and Blue Seal, with plenty of parking available. If you want to sit down and enjoy your sweets, there’s also ample seating. I’ll update this review once I dive into the cakes and other delicious offerings!

I stopped in on Friday afternoon to buy some cupcakes for my book club meeting that night. For some reason they didn't have any cupcakes at the time, but the woman behind the counter recommended the dessert mousses. I was skeptical at first but I bought six of them. They're $3.75 each, but she gave me a break on the price because I bought so many, which was really nice of her. I didn't ask for that! I bought an assortment of the flavors: chocolate-peanutbutter, strawberry, key lime and lemon. The girls in my book club absolutely raved about them. I had a small taste of each, since I technically am not supposed to have sweets, but couldn't resist. The chocolate-peanutbutter is an instant ticket to heaven. Oh, my my my. It's very rich and awesome. The strawberry is sweet and good. The key lime and lemon were cool and light, like sherbet but not cold. It's really hard for me to say which was my favorite. I also saw two wedding cakes through the window in the back room. They were simple and elegant. This is the perfect way to treat yourself for: having a bad day, having a great day, passing a test, failing a test, cheering yourself up, and sustaining a good mood. ; Just go! Eat some mousse!
