We're here on our honeymoon from Ocala, Florida, and found out the restaurant was closed. Just when we were feeling disappointed, Sylvia heard our request for some peach cobbler and truly saved our honeymoon. Thank you, Sylvia! You have our heartfelt gratitude. Double L, you both made the beginning of our marriage memorable! The peach cobbler was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. If you're ever in Elijah, be sure to stop by for a great meal. And don’t forget to give Sylvia a generous tip! Thanks again, Double L and Sylvia!

First time eating here. It’s country cooking and cafeteria style. You tell the staff what you want as you move down the line and they put it on your plate. The ladies working there are all so friendly and we didn’t feel rushed when making our selections. Food was good and they put plenty on our plate. Best biscuit I’ve eaten in a long time; just like my grandmother made. Will definitely eat here again when in the area.

We enjoyed lunch here, and the menu changes every day. The food was fresh and served hot. If you appreciate country-style cooking, you'll definitely enjoy dining here. The staff is also incredibly friendly!
