Ellicottville Brewing Company

This was my first time being here, absolutely fantastic!!! The calamari was amazing and the burgers and beer cheese was delicious!! I had two Watermelon Jalapeno Margaritas; perfect!!! Highly recommend and will be back!!!

Stopped in on a rainy a Friday night. Great atmosphere and location right in the heart of Ellicottville. We were hoping to enjoy the patio, but the weather prevented it. We ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. The EBC blueberry is outstanding.Easy to drink and served with blueberries. The pretzel for an app was really good. The pulled pork was disappointing. Withthe BBQ sauce was good to very good, but most of it didn't have any sauce and without it, it was moist but bland. We have hadgood food previously, so it may have been an off night. Service was slow throughout the evening, often having to get out of ourseat to find our waitress, who disappeared for 15 minutes at a time. It was not overly busy either. Servers at adjacent tableswere not helpful as it was not their area. Plates were not cleaned when meals were finished etc. We will return and hope it'simproved next time! This time it truly missed the mark for us.

The day after Thanksgiving you could’ve mailed it in; but the staff, food service were all top shelf. Presentation and taste, too. Best fish fry, fries even the side of coleslaw was delish. Of course the Old Man Winter Lager hit the spot. We stop here every year on our road trip and it never disappoints. (Even the bathrooms are spotless and the staff was masked up for our safety theirs). ?

Very nice ambience. Food had issues. Only because my wife and I had a meal that had French Fries. They were maybe overcooked because they were tough and couldn't cut them with our fork. Way overpriced. They give you a knife for I presume to cut my pita sandwich. The knife couldn't cut butter and it didn't even cut my tough fries. The waitress was a very nice person, and helpful. Only being here once and never again, I didn't even mention it to her about the Fries issue. My wife had a Hamburg sandwich of some sort and it was huge and she was very pleased with it.

My girlfriend and I came in for dinner on Saturday night. We were told that there was a 10 to 15 minute wait the hostess took my phone number and said we would receive a text message. After waiting for a half an hour we checked back in to see what was going on. Nobody had a clue that I was even waiting for a table. Frustrated at that point we sat at the bar. The bartender started to take our order we were able to get our starters out and then just walked away in the middle of us ordering. Had to grab another bartender to finish our order but that took another 10 minutes and still nobody could confirm whether the first part of our order was put in or not. The appetizer and my girlfriends soup came out, there was soup all over the sides of the bowl it was a mess. Due to the delay in ordering our food came out much later, I ordered the English pub burger well done it came out red it looked raw. Drink glasses sat empty for most of our experience as the bartenders kept passing us to take care of people around us skipping over us each time. When I got my second glass of blueberry there was one blueberry in it the bartender said she was going to grab more but I never did and just started taking other peoples orders. Love the beer but don’t think I will ever be back to the restaurant again. Horrible experience not worth the money.
