Umi Sushi - Ellicott City

Umi Sushi was a good visit. Took one of my kiddos there for a birthday lunch. It looks like a small restaurant on the inside but there is a patio out back with lots of seating available outside. It is very well set up with nice atmosphere. For lunch I got shrimp tempura roll which is my favorite roll and Hibachi steak and shrimp. I think it was my first time having the Hibachi dish but I would definitely have it again. The steak was cooked well and moist. And the shrimp was a good compliment.

Great sushi from this place. The tuna sample was amazing. Didn't love the salad dressing. (Big deal). And the sashimi plate we got wasn't my favorite. But presentation and flavor was great!

Finally found the best sushi I've had in Maryland since I was in Japan! Excellent customer service and all the crew were very attentive. Will be back for sure!

Best sushi i’ve had at a very fair price. the clear soup was the best i’ve had. the garlic chili tofu is perfectly crisp on the outside while very soft on the inside. the vegetable tempura has a large serving size with a delicious sauce. the angry lobster roll is hands down the best roll i’ve tried. highly recommend, great service, one of my favorite places to eat.

The best sushi I’ve ever had paired with incredible presentation a beautiful patio on the river. We’re obsessed and will definitely be back. Did I mention the price point is right on par with less “fancy” restaurants? Truly a unicorn
